Baptist Health GI Specialists Open House


Baptist Health GI Specialists is proud to announce the addition of Morris Wilson Beebe III, M.D., Gastroenterologist. Dr. Beebe is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. He attended the University of Kentucky for undergraduate, earning his bachelors of Science in Zoology. He continued his education at the University of Louisville Medical School then underwent his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Tennessee. He went on to complete a gastroenterology fellowship with the University of Cincinnati.


Dr. Beebe has practiced in Kentucky for 30 years, working at King’s Daughter’s Medical Specialists in Ashland, Kentucky and Gastroenterology Associates in Lexington, Kentucky. He joined Baptist Health at the beginning of September.


He has recently relocated to the London area and looks forward to becoming part of the community. “I am excited to be a part of the Baptist Health family and being involved in a family community; I grew up in Lexington amidst the University of Kentucky sports, therefore I am an avid University of Kentucky fan and I enjoy fishing in my spare time,” said Dr. Beebe.


He has two children, a son and daughter. His son, Wilson is 24 and resides in Lexington; his hobbies include all forms of electronics. His daughter, Kate, is 27; she has pursued a career in the marketing field in the Cincinnati area.


We look forward to working with Dr. Beebe in the opening of Baptist Health GI Specialists, we feel as though he brings a lot of experience in a much needed specialty area,” said Anthony Powers, Vice President of Baptist Health Corbin.
